1. Windows computer with Windows 7 or higher
2. USB A to USB C cable
3. GX-Force Gas Monitor

Instructions:

1. Unzip the “Information for GX-Force Leak Check Mode Upgrade” folder after downloading this ZIP file.

2. Navigate to the “USB C Program Loader” folder in the unzipped folder and double click the setup.exe file. Follow installation prompts.

3. Navigate to the “Setup Program” folder in the unzipped folder and double click the setup.exe file. Follow installation prompts.

4. Turn the GX-Force off if it is on.

5. Connect the GX-Force to the computer using the USB cable.

6. Launch the GX-Force Program Loader program from the computer’s Start menu.

7. Turn on the GX-Force.

8. Click the Open button in the Program Loader interface.

9. Click the “Main” radio dot and then click “Select”.

10. Navigate to the Instrument Firmware\Main folder in the unzipped folder and double click the .mot file there.

Turn on the GX-Force.

11. Click Go. The program screen indicates the transfer is starting and the GX-Force screen says “UPDATE”.

12. The program will indicate the transfer is complete. Click OK.  The GX-Force will be turned off.

13. Click the “Sub” radio dot and then click “Select”.

14. Navigate to the Instrument Firmware\Sub folder in the unzipped folder and double click the .mot file there.

15. Turn the GX-Force back on.

16. Click the Open button.

17. Click “Go”. The program screen indicates the transfer is starting and the GX-Force screen says “UPDATE”.

18. The program will indicate the transfer is complete. Click OK.  The GX-Force will be turned off.
