This course provides a comprehensive introduction to wireless fixed gas detection systems, focusing on the principles, applications, and practical implementation of wireless technology in industrial environments. Participants will explore why wireless solutions are used, where they are best applied, and how wireless gas detection products operate to improve safety, flexibility, and visibility.
The training covers RKI wireless product offerings, including system architecture and the role of wireless networks in enabling 24/7 remote monitoring and situational awareness. Attendees will learn how wireless signals propagate in real-world facilities and will perform signal propagation testing to ensure reliable communication and optimal system placement.
Hands-on instruction includes programming and configuring wireless devices, as well as calibration best practices to maintain accuracy and compliance. By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to design, deploy, program, and maintain wireless fixed gas detection systems in a variety of industrial applications.
