Individuals need personal protection in hazardous areas at all times without adding extra bulky equipment, and the GP-01 can provide that kind of protection at an affordable price. The GP-01 model is the smallest personal combustible gas monitor available, weighing only 3.5 ounces. It detects the presence of flammable mixtures and digitally indicates the concentration. This low cost combustible gas monitor operates up to 16 hours on 2 AAA size alkaline batteries and has a Ni-Cad version available. The GP-01 has a 0 to 100% LEL range and an LCD digital display with automatic backlighting during alarm. Designed to detect the presence of flammable gases or vapors, the GP-01 can operate intermittently or continuously. The 2 preset alarm levels at 10% and 50% LEL are user adjustable and are equipped with visual, audible and vibration alarms. The replaceable sensor is a proprietary coin type catalytic cell in a metal enclosure that will last for up to 3 years.
The GP-01 is safe for use in hazardous locations, certified as intrinsically safe by CSA to U.S. and Canadian standards for Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D.
